A1 Mario World
A1 Mario World is a Super Mario World romhack that transforms the original SNES classic into a short and refreshing new adventure. While there are plenty of hacks out there that are longer, more polished, harder, and even more enjoyable - A1 Mario World is a unique window into my perspective on the game. Dedicated to the A1 Twins (twitch), this hack is my open letter of appreciation for their infectious excitement that has brough joy to me and many others. A long time ago I mixed and matched some ideas into Super Qbear World (download)/trailer (YouTube). Much more recently, I began refining my skills and putting together new ideas for a future SMW Romhack. A1 Mario World is the result, building on all of my learning experiences and shaping a compelling new platforming challenge.
Update: A1 Mario World is now on smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=32956! There were some issues with door entries in the castle level. I haven't (and likely won't for a while) fixed these in Version 1, only Version A. So play Version 1 at your own risk. It is still beatable, but do the blue section first in the castle, and enter doors in the castle from the right edge
